We believe our patients deserve the very best veterinary care. Abilene, Texas Randy Lewis, DVM Basically, our team is full of horse lovers. They make it a goal to treat each patient like their own. They give each patient plenty of love and attention. They are prepared to discuss preventative medicine so that every horse can stay as healthy as possible. They will also do everything that they can to make a sick horse feel better as soon as possible. Born and raised in the Abilene area, Dr. Lewis has been around horses his whole life. He was first exposed to horses at the age of three when his parents worked for famed cutting horse trainer Buster Welch. Dr. Lewis graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 along with his wife, Kimberly, who is a small animal veterinarian. Dr. Lewis also serves on the TEVA Board of Directors and will be beginning a term as the TEVA Treasurer in 2021. Dr. Lewis has been involved with planning the TEVA CE offerings, student activities and membership opportunities. Dr. Lewis has also been a long time supporter of the TEVA Foundation and takes part in the Foundation Auction every year. Meagan Wright and Carlie Peavy are essential parts of our team and enjoy working with our clients and helping their horses. The practice covers ranch calls*, drop offs, lameness exams, routine work, dentistry and surgery, reproduction, and emergency services.
