Over the last 30 years, Dr Bo has treated every critter that walked through his door and bettered the world of veterinary medicine in many ways. He has mentored thousands of veterinary students and helped them become successful equine and mixed animal practitioners. He has also trained numerous veterinarians as interns and associates that have not only gone on to be excellent practitioners, but also have gone on to be accepted to residency programs across the nation. Dr. Brock has also developed and fine-tuned a method of addressing navicular disease. He has treated hundreds of horses with navicular syndrome and cysts with navicular bursoscopies, and thanks to him, there are many happy owners and horses all over the United States. In 2008, he passed the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners exam to become board certified in equine practice. He served as one of the founders of TEVA, the leading equine veterinary association in Texas and source of CE for vets across numerous states. He also works closely with the veterinary schools at Texas Tech and Texas A&M. Dr. Brock recently won an award for distinguished alumnus of the year at Texas A&M College of veterinary medicine. Bo has been blessed with 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren that he loves spending time with. When he's not at the clinic, he enjoys helping at the family vineyard, playing the guitar, and teaching at his church. He also published a book called "Crowded in the Middle of Nowhere", which became a bestseller and has made thousands of people smile around the world. Thousands of horses, cattle, pigs, goats, dogs, and cats are alive and thriving thanks to Dr. Brock, and the landscape of veterinary medicine in west Texas would not be the same without him. We are very thankful for the founder of Brock Veterinary Clinic, and the wisdom and guidance he continues to share as we move forward as a clinic treating your critters every day!
