CYNTHIA MACKENZIE, DVM CYNTHIA MACKENZIE, DVM Cynthia MacKenzie, DVM represents the AVMA PLIT around the country, raising the awareness of the PLIT program insurance and risk management solutions to veterinarians and veterinary students. Prior to joining the AVMA PLIT, Dr. MacKenzie was an Equine Technical Services Veterinarian at Luitpold Animal Health, providing continuing education, technical literature and consultation to veterinarians and their clients. Previously, she was with Merck Animal Health as a Senior Equine Technical Services Veterinarian and an Associate Director of Learning and Development. Additionally, Dr. MacKenzie co-founded the Unwanted Horse Veterinary Relief DAVID DUTTON, DVM, DACVS DAVID DUTTON, DVM, DACVS David M. Dutton is a Professor of Large Animal Surgery at Texas Tech University, School of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in the agricultural industry in west Texas and southern New Mexico and continues to be involved in ranching, raising show cattle and wildlife management. He was the owner of an equine practice for 20 years focused on equine surgery, lameness and sports medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. His teaching focuses on veterinary surgical principles, large animal surgery, and clinical surgical instruction in equine practices. Previous areas of research involved developmental orthopedic disease in foals such as angular limb deformities, incomplete ossification of tarsal bones, and suprascapular nerve injuries in horses. Currently his focus has been developing and evaluating CROY CROY RICK CROY RICK CROY Dynamic and detail-oriented Radiation Safety Specialist with over 15 years of experience in health physics, regulatory compliance, and safety surveillance. Proficient in conducting comprehensive evaluations of medical, veterinary, and dental x-ray units, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Proven ability to lead and train teams in adherence to rigorous safety standards. Skilled in delivering impactful presentations and providing leadership in radiation safety protocols across civilian and military operations. DUTTON DUTTON clinical applications of equine amniotic based allografts and amniotic derived stem cells for treatment of several equine medical conditions. Dr. Dutton has served as a continuing education speaker for local, state, and national veterinary meetings over his career. He has served on several committees and is a founding member of the Texas Equine Veterinary Association. He is also a member of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Texas Farm Bureau, and Texas Wildlife Association. MACKENZIE MACKENZIE campaign to provide vaccines to qualifying equine rescues. Dr. MacKenzie also worked in private practice in California and Kentucky. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University. Dr. MacKenzie holds active memberships with the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Equine Practitioners, and the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association. "Throughout my veterinary career, I have gained an appreciation and understanding of the tremendous value that the AVMA and PLIT provide," Dr. MacKenzie said.
